2017 U.S. Open Martial Arts Championship & Seventh Annual International Kung Fu Culture Exchange Convention
Every year, the U.S. Open Martial Arts Championship (USOMAC) attracts hundreds of elite competitors from around the world who come together here in New York City to compete for medals and cash prizes, with diverse martial arts styles including form competitions (open hand & weapons) in Modern Wushu, Northern Kung Fu, Southern Kung Fu, Karate, Taekwondo, Internal Martial Arts, and Taijiquan, as well as combat competitions in Point Sparring, Continuous Sparring, Full-Contact Sanda, Ultimate Sanda, Shuai Jiao (Chinese Wrestling), Push Hands, Chi Sao, Short Weapon Sparring, and Arnis Stick Fighting. Our judges are experienced in judging national and international level competitions and possess extensive knowledge in their martial art discipline, thus ensuring the quality and professionalism of the USOMAC.
The Martial Spirit in Competitions
Organized by the World Fighting Martial Arts Federation (WFMAF), the USOMAC is an arena which promotes the core values of martial arts: self-discipline, respect for others, and an overall attitude of kindness toward all people. This tournament provides a unique experience for martial artists from around the globe to come together and compete in a friendly atmosphere, to share skills and knowledge, to establish new friendships with those who share the same core values of martial arts, and to express these core values through actions. Come and join us on October 1st for our 9th Annual Championship, and experience for yourself martial spirit hand in hand with one of the premier martial arts tournament events on the East Coast of the United States.
A Bigger & Better International Competition Stage
This year, the World Fighting Martial Arts Federation (WFMAF) and the International Kung Fu Federation (IKF) will join forces to bring you a bigger and better international competition stage for both meeting with and competing against the best athletes from around the globe. The IKF is one of the top Kung Fu organizations in China, with regional members from Russia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Asia, and Africa. The IKF hosts the International Kung Fu Culture Exchange Convention, an international level annual martial arts competition, with over 300 participating athletes from China, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Brazil, United Kingdom, Georgia, India, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
By combining the resources, expertise, and competitive events from both the US Open Martial Arts Championship and the International Kung Fu Culture Exchange Convention, we raise the bar of our international martial event and offer a higher level of competition.
