About

The National Cambodian Heritage Museum & Cambodian Association of Illinois are part of the National Day of Remembrance across the US which honors the 2 million Cambodian lives lost and many others who have survived the Cambodian Killing Fields genocide from 1975-79.

It will take place at the Cambodian Museum space on Tuesday, April 17th which marks the anniversary date of the beginning of the Khmer Rouge takeover as we share stories and performance on genocide awareness, survivor trauma, resiliency, unity, and community.
