Coexist: A Community Gathering for Unity and Hope

When: 7-10 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017

Where: St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 19 Smith St., Port Chester.

Coexist: A Community Gathering for Unity and Hope invites the surrounding communities of Port Chester to congregate together in harmony to uplift each other and offer guidance in the months ahead during these very political times. The service will start with a candlelight service in the santuary area of St. Peter’s church with a handful of speakers joining before moving to the large conference and community area for a light dinner and discussion. If you are eating, please bring an ethnic dish if possible, or simply a dish you would like to share with others. Make sure to use a disposable container as the church will not be washing any dishes. There is no charge to attend but will be a donation jar when you walk in, plus you should bring a dish if you plan on eating. The donations at the end of the evening will be split by the PCRNAACP and the Westchester Martin Luther King, Jr. Instistute.
