About

Buying a house is a big deal - be prepared for it! Our Homestretch classes walk through all of the steps of purchasing a home and give you a better understanding of how the whole process works, arming you with information to make you a confident and powerful purchaser.

This workshop is held in Minneapolis at the office of City of Lakes Community Land Trust.

Our 8-hour interactive workshops are taught by housing counselors and mortgage and real estate professionals. You will have a chance to get answers to your questions directly from the experts! Our Homestretch classes are HUD, NSP, and NeighborhoodLIFT approved.

People who participate in education before buying a home are more likely to have a successful experience, including keeping up on their mortgage payments after they buy. Homestretch isn't just for first-time buyers, either - markets and mortgage rules change. Set yourself up for success by attending a workshop.
