King's Landing Dubrovnik Croatia Yoga Retreat w/ Indira Avdić
When?Start time: Wednesday 7:00am (28 March)
End time: Tuesday 7:00pm (03 April)
Dubrovnik was the main filming location in Croatia for King’s Landing, a fictional city in Game of Thrones, the famous television series based on the series of fantasy novels “A Song of Ice and Fire”. For those who have seen the series and are passionate about it, a visit to Dubrovnik will become a beautiful déjà vu because of the way in which it was so well integrated into the setting of the series.
With a base such as that of the Old Town of Dubrovnik, no special measures were necessary for scenery or special effects in order to play the fortified port city of King’s Landing, a stronghold of the Lannister family. Filming grandly exploits the large outer walls, fortifications built over time by human hands, as well as the narrow streets of the old town where several scenes happen during the course of the episodes.

Indira is a yogi who is passionate about life, people and yoga. She first discovered yoga in 2009, as a way to heal a back injury she got in a car accident. By experiencing the physical and the mental benefits of the yoga practice, Indira knew from the very beginning that yoga would become an important part of her life. In 2011, Indira completed her 200-hour teacher training, knowing that this was what she wanted to do – share the benefits of yoga and help people in their healing journeys. Having extensive experience in the corporate world, Indira felt confident combining her business skills and passion for yoga to build a successful yoga and cycling studio where people could feel safe and welcomed. Today, a proud owner of Live Love Flow Studio, Indira works with a diverse group of talented teachers. Off the mat, Indira enjoys spending time with her family and travelling, especially to Europe, Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina where she grew up. She often brings her worldliness into the classroom in addition to her spirituality and yoga philosophy.
