About

Come out on Sunday October 8, 2017 @ 6:30pm to help raise funds to fight against Breast and Ovarian Cancer. If you are anything like me you should be sick and tired of burying folks that we love. Only recently I lost my ex-husband, great friend and phenomenal Actor - Lloyd Goodman to Cancer.

In 2010 I lost my mom to Pancreatic Cancer and in 2012 I was diagnosed and survived Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS). Not to mention the countless homegoing services that I have attended in the last 5 years for those who fought a good fight to the end. As a survivor I remember the cost of the Co-payments $40 each visit for 40 treatments of radiation. Do the math. It was paid by the American Cancer Society. Transportation to and from, treatment paid by the Cancer Society. The Patient Navigator that guided me through the process-The American Cancer Society.

Each month I vlolunteer with the Look Good Feel Better program with Woodhull and Methodist hospitals. My give back! The program provides a afternoon of make-up application and fun for women undergoing chemo and/or radiation treatment. The make-up kits are provided by popular distribuors (MAC, Maybelline, Lancome,Channel .......to name a few), teaching these workshops are the highlight of my day. It's such an honor and privelege to help women who come in depressed and saddened without eyebrows and walk out Looking and Feeling beautiful. Throughout the session we laugh and get BEAUTIFIED. It's the greatest volunteer work EVER.

Do you know that there are several different kind of breast cancers? How did they find that out? Reseach. What pays for research? MONEY. So on October 8th let's raise some money. Let's Save some LIVES. let's make a difference.
