About

This event will look at the intersections of not being a man in the workplace, and what it means to carry that weight in 2017. At this event we will be centering OUR voices, the voices that are the most overlooked (womxn, trans, non-binary), and yet the ones that are usually working the hardest; in the worst conditions while being constantly exploited and profited off of. This event offers a powerful opportunity to build your awareness of how worker justice can serve you. We will engage in conversations and discuss:What does it mean to be in the working world as a Womxn? What does it mean to be in the working world while being Trans*? What if you are Non-Binary? After this workshop, you’ll be able to spot workplace mistreatment, and identify empowering solutions for combatting real issues that affect non-cis gendered men, while still keeping your job. All people are welcome to this event, however we will be centering people who identify as being apart of a marginalized gender/s.
