The Pendleton Center for the Arts is proud to present work by one of the most important artists of the 20th Century in the East Oregonian Gallery. Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010) was a French-American artist whose work explores themes of childhood, domesticity, family, gender roles and sexuality, While her room-sized spider sculptures are probably her most famous works, she also has multiple other sought after pieces. Louise was largely considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century and has been exhibited at most of the most famous museums in the world.
Admission is free. Center hours are Tuesday – Friday 10:00 – 4:00PM and Saturday 12:00 – 4:00PM. For special hours, please contact staff.
