1st Annual RunTough for Team Tommy benefitting the ChadTough Foundation will take place Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Metro Health Univeristy of Michigan Health Hospital from 8:30-11:00 am. The local, family-friendly event will include a 1-mile fun run and 5K race for both children and adults, and the foundation will once again offer a “virtual race” option for anyone who isn’t local or has scheduling conflicts. We are thrilled to have Eric Zane joining us as the master of ceremonies for the morning.
This race is being held in conjunction with the ChadTough Foundation in memory of Tommy Ruddy, who lost his battle with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) on November 3,2016. A short and heroic 11 week battle with the disease
All proceeds from the event will support The ChadTough Foundation, which raises research dollars and awareness for pediatric brain cancer with an emphasis on Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
